The Science Behind Our Process
Electronic leak detection works by passing a low-voltage electrical current across the surface of a roofing membrane or waterproofing system. When the membrane is intact, the current does not pass through to the substrate below. When a breach exists, moisture creates a conductive pathway—and our IntegriScan™ equipment detects and pinpoints it immediately.
The result is an exact location for every breach, confirmed with audible and visual alerts, without cutting, drilling, or applying water. Testing follows ASTM D7877 (low-voltage vector mapping) and ASTM D8231 (low-voltage scanning) standards.
